Our chargers automatically identify battery voltage and polarity, lock the charging current and monitor temperature. The protection set covers short circuit, overcurrent, overvoltage, overtemperature, reverse connection, automatic cut-off when the battery is full, and timed charging. Both the input and the output side have an internal fuse, and the units are designed for EMI and EMS compliance.
Automatic polarity detection is the feature buyers ask about most, because a reverse connection can damage the battery, the charger and the pack or vehicle electronics rather than simply failing to charge. Temperature sensing, plus the automatic step-down or cut-off when charging completes, also reduces stress on the pack during long unattended charging cycles. Tell us your battery and connector arrangement and we will confirm the matching configuration.
Yes. Our power supplies are designed to comply with the main global efficiency programmes: CEC, DoE Level VI, Energy Star, ErP Stage 2, CoC Tier 2, NRCan and GEMS. Across the range efficiency runs from 90% to 95%: 90% for the 60W series, 94% from 200W upwards, and 95% for the GaN/SiC models and the 400W-and-above series.
Please note that these regimes are not identical. The US DoE and the EU ErP/CoC requirements use different test conditions and limit values, so compliance is declared separately for each market. Tell us which market the product is destined for and we will confirm the applicable standard, the measured efficiency data and the supporting documents for the specific model you select.
Our IP67 waterproof range covers the 60W, 120W, 150W, 250W, 400W, 1500W and 3000W platforms, all with fixed AC and DC cords rather than detachable plugs. IP67 means the enclosure is fully dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion; the standard definition is immersion in one metre of water for 30 minutes. It is an enclosure protection rating, not a licence to operate the unit underwater.
Typical applications are outdoor charging, garden machinery, pool robots, e-motorcycles and other installations exposed to rain, wash-down or condensation. If your requirement involves continuous immersion or a pressure-jet wash-down, tell us, because that sits beyond IP67. Model-specific IP test documentation can be provided for the unit you purchase.
We hold both. PSE certification for Japan is number JD 50457999, verifiable on certipedia.com, and KC certification for Korea is HU 101138-20003C, verifiable at ktc.re.kr. Chargers are tested to J60335-1 and J60335-2-29 with J55014-1 for EMC, adapters to J62368-1 with J55032, and LED drivers to J61347-1 and J61347-2-13 with J55015.
For Korea, our charger range is certified to KC 62368-1 with KN 32 and KN 35, and the adapter range to KC 60335-1 and KC 60335-2-29 with KN 14-1 and KN 14-2. Please share the model you plan to import so that we can confirm the certificate scope covers it. Market-specific registration steps on the importer side may still apply and should be confirmed locally.
Yes. Our chargers support CAN 2.0 and RS485 interfaces, enabling remote monitoring and real-time data exchange with your host system or battery management system, rather than acting as a stand-alone charging box. CAN is typically used for closed-loop communication with a host or BMS, while RS485 is commonly used for data collection and monitoring over longer cable runs.
Because protocol details matter for integration, the question we need answered is not only which bus you use, but which protocol and register map the host expects. Send us your BMS or controller specification and our engineers will confirm compatibility for the platform in question, along with the connector and pin-out. This interface is a key requirement in robot, AGV and energy-storage projects, where the charger must report status rather than only deliver current.
Yes. We hold SAA, certificate SAA-190902-EA, RCM, UKCA, CCC, certificate 2017010907933019, BIS and NOM approvals across our range. Australian and New Zealand products are tested to AS/NZS 60335.2.29 and AS/NZS 62368-1, UK products to BS EN IEC 62368-1 and BS EN 60335-1 with 60335-2-29, and products for China to GB 4943.1 and GB 42296 with GB/T 9254.1 for EMC.
One practical point for planning: in several of these markets part of the registration is held by a local importer, brand owner or authorised representative rather than by the overseas factory. We supply the test reports, certificate copies and technical documentation needed to support that registration, and our sales team will confirm the applicable route for your market.
